Desert Profiles: "The Fields of Ben M'Hidi"

This lady of the field was having a morning tea break in a field on the edge of Ben M'Hidi, a small town named for a hero of the Algerian war for independence, a war often characterized as the most brutal of modern times. A number of these field workers lost their husbands in the war.
